Ames Cyclones HS Hockey
Ames Cyclones High School Hockey is for players who are incoming Freshman through Senior year. This team encompasses players from all over the Des Moines Metro. Players practice on the Ames Ice Arena 4 times a week with workouts 2-3 times a week at Iridium Crossfit in Ames.
Where
As part of the the Midwest Hockey League (MWHSHL), Ames Cyclones play other teams in the league traveling to Nebraska, Kansas City and surrounding teams in Iowa
When
High School tryouts are early June with optional summer practices. Regular season is October - February.
Games
Ames Cyclones will play about 37 games which are usually on the weekends, Friday, Saturday or Sundays.
Costs
Tryout Fee: $50
Registration Fees for 26/27: TBD
Travel Fees for 26/27: TBD
Jerseys, socks, bag and warm up gear is an additional cost to each player.
