Our very own Drew and Ryan (Coaches from Behind the Mask) are working to put together a weekly goalie clinic for goalies around central Iowa. Right now, they are gathering interest and if they have enough interest - they will reserve ice in June and July.

Carroll Goalie School in July
Steve Carroll and his team of Goalie Coaches have held this camp each summer for many years. This camp will be a lot of ice time over the course of the weekend, but a nice opportunity for good coaching. Note the discount for Ames Goalies.
This off-season, give your goalie the edge by training at 31st annual Carroll Goalie School (CGS) — now available to goalies in the Ames Minor Hockey Association at a special discounted rate. CGS will be hosting two clinics - advanced Skills and Intermediate Skills, at the RecPlex in West Des Moines on July 17-19.
CGS is built specifically for goalies who want to sharpen fundamentals, build confidence, and elevate their overall game in a challenging, upbeat, and highly focused learning environment. Every session is designed to help goalies stop more pucks when it matters most.

TK Hockey Elite Development Camp in August
Led by Des Moines Buccaneer coaches Kevin Schmidt and Tommy Cogan, this camp is for hockey players with experience looking to continue to grow in a focused, competitive environment.
The camp emphasizes skaking, puck control, and game-realistic situations through intentional reps, while also incorporating off-ice training and mental performance work.
